Lost In Beauty-

Saturday was indeed a tiring day. I guessed I was too hyper and this hyper-activeness lasted for the whole day and night. A moment of fickle-mindedness, nervousness, fear, excitement and who knows whatsoever and in addition, I woke up at 6.30am when I had been having late nights the whole week.

We had decided to sleep in and not to join the Superband if it rained. Initially, I wasn't too keen to join as well. Half hoping that 天不作美 (it would pour), to my astonishment, despite the rainy season, it was a clear and beautiful sunny day!

Ok, everything starts from here..

Waiting for our turn to peorform on stage. I had quite a heart thromping session sitting there. Some participants were good and it sort of added stress to us. Furthermore, previous groups which sang without music were all being rejected. So scary!

The 3 PRCs beside ps (the yawning guy and the 2 gers) didn't help too. They rehearsed their song and surprisingly, they sang really well. And you know what? Worst of all, they had to perform just before us. Damn.

A crazy moment. We even thought of slipping away when it was about to be our turn. Luckily, we called a stop to all those nonsense and we managed to calm ourselves down.

Stunning faces of ps and mi. I think we saw a marvellous group or what. Probably a CMI (cannot make it) group?

Oh no!! Our turn next! Heart rate fastened, cold palms and feet. I guessed Xc was smiling so happily because we were trying to crack a joke while Ps was trying to calm herself down.

I was quite relieved that we could request for mic stand. It made us looked more spread out and of course, we didn't have to hold the mic during the whole tensed up moment. I was abit jittery too and I think I didn't give a superb intro but luckily, it turned out ok overall.

Our performance! Did record a video of it too. All thanks to Dear who pon his lec and came down to support! U r so sweet!

Anyway, the judges were quite pleased with our performance (although tune abit off somewhere).

Luckily we observed and analysed the judges before we went on stage. By guessing what they disliked and what they looked for plus noticing the most influential judge(a she) whom we worked on ultimately, we had a really good idea of what they looked for. We smiled, we maintained eye contact and of course, we suppressed our fears and displayed confidence (although this probably can be improved further).

Judges comment and question: 虽然有些部分有一点走音，但是整个感觉还不错。服装也蛮搭的。你们是好朋友吗？

We: *nods* and 是！
(Duh, cannot say 不是 what. But probably we made it a point to look at each other for coordination that's why she asked)

Thus, we waited for the music which will determine the result.
I could only say we were stunned, shocked, surprised, excited..

We thanked the judges while we were still in shock and left the stage. Guided by crews, we filled up some form and listened to some instructions before we were asked to pose for a photo and an interview by Berlinda. Oh no, we never thought that far and we were not prepared. Not at all!

I think I made some grammatical errors and anyhow answered qns cos I was still quite stunned. We were asked to exclaim our group name out loud and clear for the camera in the end.

Alot of rock bands joined and entered too. Some were really good and one of them had the voice of Shin! Next round would be real tough. Not hoping for anything but will just do our best bah. Anyway, the experience was really fulfilling and rich.

While Xc had to leave for work, ps had to waited for time to pass for her lesson. So, we went to Billy Bombers.

Now, it would be a brainstorming session till next week. Sigh. Any ideas?
